Baked this morning.
Made with love.
A French bakery and sandwich shop in Palm Beach Gardens. Baguettes out of the oven before the doors open, croissants and quiche made by hand, and a chef who apprenticed in France at thirteen still standing at the counter. Come see us.
Eleventh best in the country, out of tens of thousands.
There are tens of thousands of sandwich shops in the United States. Yelp's inaugural Top 100 list ranked Piknik No. 11. The Palm Beach Post covered it during National Sandwich Month, described Piknik as a sandwich shop and small-batch French bakery, and singled out the Pan Bagnat.

Christophe Bozzano
Christophe began his apprenticeship in France at the age of thirteen. He built his career in Valbonne, in the south of France, where his cafe earned a listing in the Michelin Guide. He worked for decades as a private chef before opening Piknik here in 2021.
Everything on the counter comes out of that training. The pastry is real patisserie work, not a warm-up from a box. The soup changes with the day. The sandwiches are built the way they are built in France, which is to say simply, with very good bread and very few things inside it.
"Food holds memories and feelings and reminds us of special people and times in our life. Why just eat when you can Piknik."
- Apprenticed in France from age thirteen
- Michelin Guide listing for his cafe in Valbonne, France
- Decades as a private chef before opening Piknik in 2021
- Named No. 11 in America by Yelp, four years after opening

There is nearly always something cooked and ready in the case. Real French home cooking, made here that morning, in a container you carry out and heat at home. What it is changes with the day, because it is cooked rather than manufactured.
What it usually is
Hachis parmentier, the French shepherd's pie. The chicken pot pie people keep coming back for. Chicken cordon bleu. French mac and cheese. Quiche by the whole tray if you ask ahead.
How it works
No plan, no sign-up, no commitment. You walk in, you see what is in the case, you take one home. When the day's batch is gone it is gone.
Ask before you come
Pik knows what Christophe has made today. Ask him in the corner of this page and he will tell you what is in the case before you get in the car.
